Some summer afternoons simply refuse to end. The light stays level, the air stays warm, and somewhere in the garden something is still moving — unhurried, unbothered, entirely at home. You stop what you were doing. You stay too.

A base of cream Japanese seed beads carries a full garden across the collarbone — olive leaf forms, soft purple blooms, pale pearl-white rounds and lavender teardrops placed as though they grew here over a long quiet season. At the centre, a warm-toned glass butterfly rests above a single amethyst drop, holding the whole afternoon together without effort.
